Most people eat 3 times a day. In this game you need to make a balanced meal that would cover 1/3 of your daily intake of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. So, grab your food and make a healthy dish!

The app was designed and developed by Tija Rageliene, Early Stage Researcher from Aarhus University for her PhD project about childrens healthy eating behaviour. The game aims to help children eat more fruits and veggies following dietary guidelines and recommendations by the World Health Organization. While using the game children will also be able to learn about balanced diet and food items composition.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 764985. The app was developed as the research instrument for "Edulia" project and can be used for non-profit purposes only.


Nature of the project: paper pencil questionnaire will be distributed to selected participants and they will be asked to fill it in, after obtaining parents and children informed consent forms. Then participants will be invited to use the app and after a few months to fill the questionnaire again to evaluate the efficacy of the app in promoting childrens healthy eating behaviour and increasing knowledge about healthy eating

Purpose: to encourage childrens healthy eating and contribute to preventing childhood obesity
The withdrawal process: users are free to stop using the app at any time.

Duration: the app will be used for the research project exclusively for 6 months aprox. later on it will be free available tool to use for any interested user.

Procedures, risks, and benefits to the participants: no risks are foreseen, benefits: while using the app users are encouraged to eat more fruits and vegetables and learn about balanced meal.
